1. WHAT THIS SERVICE IS

MathGPT.app provides free AI tools for mathematics: solving problems with
the working shown, explaining concepts, checking working you did yourself,
generating practice problems, and reading a problem from a photograph —
alongside a reference library of formulas and theorems.

There is no account, no subscription and no payment. Using the site means
accepting these terms.

2. NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY SIMILARLY NAMED SERVICE

Several unrelated products use names close to this one. MathGPT.app is an
independent tool operated at mathgpt.app, and is not connected to, endorsed by
or a version of any other site, app or company with a similar name.

SAT and AP are trademarks of the College Board. ACT is a trademark of ACT, Inc.
Names of other tools appear on the comparison pages only to identify them, and
imply no endorsement in either direction.

3. FAIR USE

There is no per-visitor usage cap. That is offered in good faith: you may not
script the endpoints, bypass the bot check, resell access, or use the service
in a way that degrades it for others. We may block traffic that does, and may
introduce a cap if abuse makes one necessary.

4. THE OUTPUT IS A DRAFT, NOT A GUARANTEE

Solutions here are produced by a language model, not by a computer algebra
system. They are frequently correct and sometimes confidently wrong, and an
arithmetic slip in the middle of otherwise sound working is the most likely
failure. Every answer ends with a check for that reason — read it, and verify
anything you are going to rely on.

The same applies to a problem read from a photograph: you are shown the
transcription before it is solved precisely because the reading can be wrong.

Nothing here is financial, tax, engineering, medical, legal or professional
advice, no matter what a solved problem happens to calculate.

USING THIS FOR SCHOOLWORK IS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR INSTITUTION. Submitting
generated work as your own may breach your school's academic integrity rules.
That is your responsibility, not ours.

5. YOUR CONTENT AND THE OUTPUT

You keep whatever rights you have in the text and images you submit. We claim
no ownership of the solutions you receive, and you may use them for any
purpose, commercial included, without attribution.

Do not submit confidential information, personal data about other people, or
anything you are not permitted to disclose. In particular, do not photograph a
page that contains somebody else's name or details. Prompts and uploaded images
are sent to the AI provider to be answered — see the Privacy Policy.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use this service to produce content that is unlawful, to attack this
site or its providers, or to sit an examination you are required to sit
unaided.

7. AVAILABILITY

This is a free service provided as-is. There is no uptime commitment. Features,
limits and the underlying AI models may change or be withdrawn at any time
without notice.

8. NO WARRANTY, AND LIMITS

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided without
warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular
purpose and accuracy of output.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or
consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit, arising from use of this
service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, with the
courts of that jurisdiction having exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

10. CHANGES

If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with
them. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.
