Privacy Policy for MathGPT.app

1. THE SHORT VERSION

MathGPT.app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no payments. We do not set
advertising cookies and we do not build a profile of you. What you type into a
tool — and any photo you upload — is sent to an AI model to be answered, and is
not stored afterwards.

2. WHAT WE PROCESS

Prompts. The text you type into any tool on this site is sent to Cloudflare
Workers AI to generate a response. It is processed to answer your request and
is not written to any database of ours. Do not paste confidential or personal
data into this tool, or into any AI tool.

Photographs. An image you upload to the photo solver is resized in your own
browser, sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to be read, and discarded once the
transcription comes back. It is not written to any storage of ours and there is
no account for it to be attached to. Because a photograph of a worksheet can
carry a name, a class or a school in the margin, crop to the problem itself.

IP address. Your IP address is used to route your request, and is passed to
Cloudflare Turnstile as part of the bot check so that a challenge solved on
one machine is harder to replay from another. We do not store it, and there
is no usage counter kept against it.

Standard server logs. Requests to this site produce ordinary web server logs
at our infrastructure provider, containing IP address, timestamp, and the URL
requested. These are retained on their default schedule for security and
debugging, and are not used for marketing.

3. WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not have user accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to
delete. We do not sell data. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking
cookies. We do not use your prompts to train models.

4. PROCESSORS

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, the AI inference used to answer prompts and
to read uploaded images, and the bot-protection check on the request form. Their processing is governed by
their own terms and privacy policy.

If analytics are enabled on this site, they are configured to collect aggregate
page-view counts only, without cookies and without cross-site identifiers.

5. LEGAL BASIS AND YOUR RIGHTS

Where GDPR applies, the legal basis for the processing above is legitimate
interest: answering the request you made, and preventing abuse of a free and
unauthenticated service.

Because we hold no account and no persistent identifier, we generally cannot
locate data relating to a specific person — there is none to locate. If you
believe we nonetheless hold personal data about you, write to
support@mathgpt.app and we will look and, if we find any, delete it.

6. CHILDREN

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no
personal data from them. Since there are no accounts, there is no registration
data of any age.

7. SECURITY

Traffic is served over HTTPS, and nothing a visitor submits is written to any
store — there is no database of prompts, images or results. The main residual
risk is what a user chooses to type into a prompt, which is why
the guidance in section 2 is worth repeating: do not paste confidential data.

8. CHANGES

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes
with it.
